At this class children will learn Georgian folk and urban songs, as well as traditional round dances and musical games

This class includes Georgian polyphonic folk and urban songs. Each lesson covers one or two new songs, so there’s no need for continuity - you can join from time to time, depending on your availability

This class will be focused on developing musical ear and intuition through working with old recordings, improvisational exercises, collective composition and group experiments.

This class offers iconic Georgian chants from three traditional chanting schools - Karbelashvili (from Eastern Georgia), Gelati and Shemokmedi (from Western Georgia)

For this class, repertoire will focus primarily on Georgian urban folk songs (qalaquri), though the chords, techniques and aural skills learned can be applied more broadly.
